A man in Alabama, USA, nearly lost his life due to careless iPhone charging in bed during sleep.
According to the New York Post, the incident occurred March 23 when 32-year-old Wiley Day left the iPhone in bed while sleeping. During this time, the metal ring on Day's neck accidentally entangled in the battery charger, turning Day's neck into a conductor.
Having a 110 volt electric shock, Day woke up and tried to snatch his neck out of his neck to escape.
With second and third degree burns in the neck and hands, Day said, " Charge the phone away from you. Charge the phone the next day, it's not worth your life ."
