Before launch next month, the configuration of these two phones has been revealed quite clearly.
According to the Android Authority, the Mi 6 and the Mi 6 Plus will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. This is interesting news, since it was rumored earlier that Qualcomm did not have enough of the latest chips to supply Xiaomi.
Detailed configuration of the Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus versions
The Mi 6 features 5.15-inch Full HD resolution, with 4 or 6GB of RAM, 32 to 128GB of internal memory. Front and rear cameras have resolution of 8MP, 19MP respectively. Mi 6 uses a 3200 mAh battery, supports 2 SIM and pre-installed version of MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.

The larger version of the Mi 6 Plus has a 5.7-inch screen, the resolution is still Full HD. 6GB of RAM will come with 64 or 128GB of memory. The main camera of the Mi 6 Plus has a resolution of 12 megapixels, while the front camera still has an 8 megapixel resolution. The battery capacity of this handset is 4500 mAh, still supporting two Nano SIM. It is notable that the Mi 6 Plus runs the MIUI 8 but was developed on the newer Android 7 Nougat.
