Apple is increasing the pressure on developers to force them to update their applications regularly, starting with the removal of old applications and even by the toughest technical means, Cnet said.

In fact, we all have several apps installed on iOS devices but have not received updates in a very long time. These applications may cause the device to experience problems such as slower or incompatible with the latest iOS version.

When apps are not updated to keep up with core changes on iOS, they are often faulty and do not perform as expected. For some dedicated applications, users have no choice, they are required to use the older version of the app.For applications such as Twitter or Email, users must look for alternative apps on the App Store.

Starting with iOS 10.3, you'll have a faster way to check which apps are installed on your abandoned iOS device.

On your iOS device, go to Settings => General => About => Applications . Wait a moment for the About screen to finish scanning your device's memory and calculate the number of images before the Applications entry turns into a button. You will know when you can select it through the icon > next to the number of apps you have installed.

A list of obsolete and slow-moving apps will appear. Touch each application to check for updates.

If there are not any updates, or the app is no longer available, Apple will notify you and assist you in contacting the developer of the app directly.
