Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Along with that, instead of using Google Assistant, the flagship duo will use Samsung's Bixby virtual assistant.

1. Dedicated Button

Galaxy S8 is the first smartphone to use a dedicated button for AI assistant. Although it's just a small feature, it will make it easier for users to reach Bixby.

2. Understand the natural language

Bixby does not rely on limited vocabulary as some virtual assistants, instead it is improved to be able to hear and understand natural language.

3. Replace the way you interact with the application

The user-friendly interface helps Bixby to replace the way users interact with touch-sensitive applications. In other words, Bixby can make touch-sensitive interaction with applications an even better experience.

4. Detection of objects

One of Bixby's major features (like Alexa) is its ability to recognize objects. It can help you scan products when shopping, reading text, or provide information about objects appearing in front of the camera. Of course, this feature of Bixby will be effectively supported from the camera on the device.

5. Reminders

Like most AI assistants today, Bixby is also equipped with advanced reminder capabilities, allowing users to create tasks and Bixby will be based on predefined times to remind you. In addition, this feature can interact entirely by voice.

6. Change home page

Bixby's main screen collects all the basic information about the device, as well as information from the user. Your behavior and usage trends will determine the order in which cards appear on Bixby's screen.
