The genius physicist Stephen Hawking will join the spaceship on the ship of billionaire Richard Branson.
According to Yahoo , Stephen Hawking has been studying, rationalizing, pondering, writing about the universe for decades and now has the opportunity to enter space. Hawking revealed that he had booked a spot on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic flight. This decision was made after Richard Branson invited the famous physicist and cosmologist to realize his dream of flying into space.
In an interview on Good Morning Britain, Stephen Hawking said, "My three children have brought me great joy and I can tell you what will make me happy: I have completed a zero-gravity flight that allows me to float in a weightless state, but my last ambition is to fly into space, I think no one can help me finish. This, but Richard Branson offered me a seat on Virgin Galactic and I agreed immediately. "
Neither Hawking nor Branson made any concrete plans for this space expedition. Virgin Galactic is still in the process of finalizing its business plans and Hawking may have to wait some time to realize his dream.
The company's SpaceShipTwo spacecraft is designed to give passengers a sense of space travel but not as complex as the tasks NASA is carrying out. The ship was launched from the ground, crossed the Earth's atmosphere and paused for a few minutes so passengers could enjoy the gravityless feeling before returning to the ground and landing like an airplane.
