It is likely that both the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will have a different interface than the Samsung UX that Samsung has released on the Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. This interface looks pretty minimalist with rounded icons.
PhoneArena has just provided the supposed photos of the Galaxy S8. These images are from China and it shows a new interface with higher resolutions than the blurry images we have seen before. It is not clear whether or not previous Samsung smartphones have received updates on this interface. The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will come with a 18.5: 9 aspect ratio display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels.
Turns from left to right are the interface of the Galaxy S8, S7 (Nougat) and S7 (Marshmallow). What of the S7 update from Marshmallow to Nougat is merely a more flat image, the background inside the icons is more colorful. The S8 icons are simpler and easier to understand for each default application.
Uniform icons
The icons are rounded and the symbols inside make the new look more unique and unique than the Nougat updates of the S7 and S7 Edge.
Internal changes
In the screenshots leaked screen settings of S8, the interface has changed, the icons on the homescreen screen or on the app drawer is not too "fancy". We can see the interface of the Settings application on S8. The icons seem big compared to S7 and S7 Edge after updating to Android 7.0 Nougat.
Always-on screen
The Always-on screen looks better and more functional than the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat updates. You will get a notification icon surrounded by and can access it directly by double tapping the screen.
Integration of Microsoft applications
Samsung has signed an agreement with Microsoft. This agreement allows Microsoft Android applications to be integrated on Samsung Galaxy phones. This agreement is still deadline and you can see a folder named Microsoft located on S8's homescreen screen.
Clear navigation bar
Unlike previous generations of Galaxy S, S8 and S8 Plus will not have a home / fingerprint sensor on the bottom bezel. We will see virtual navigation keys like Home, Back or Menu. However, unlike phones with virtual navigation keys, the navigation bar of S8 will be under the screen and transparent, so the phone's background will be expanded.
